RMA (Return Material Authorization) Policy

To prevent your package from being lost or double billed, we need an RMA number for all returns, replacements and lost shipments. Please contact your sales rep to receive an RMA form and make further arrangements.

Our RMA policy includes the following:

  • We honor a 30-day Full Credit policy on all defective products.
  • After 30 days (from date of invoice), all products returned will be for replacement only.
  • An "Orange Coast Micro" RMA form must be used when returning product.
  • A copy of the completed RMA form must accompany returned product, either inside package with product or securely attached to outside of package.
  • Our RMA number must be visible on outside of package returned.
  • Our warehouse must receive returned product no later than 14 days from issuance of RMA number. Product received after 14 days will be refused and returned to customer. A new RMA number must then be reissued.
  • Orange Coast Micro must approve all products returned for RMA. Any additional product not listed or approved on the RMA will be returned to the customer.
  • Our Limited-Lifetime Warranty does not extend to obsolete and or discontinued products.
  • Non-defective product RMA number issuance must be notified to us within 15 days of the original purchase date and will be at Orange Coast's discretion. Authorized Non-defective returns will always incur a 15 % restocking fee calculated to the original purchase price or the credit will be issued to current market value, never to exceed the original invoice value. Server/Workstation product replacement requests require immediate technical failure analysis prior to any cross-shipment. Contracted Client Status: Contact your sales representative to obtain additional warranty provisions. Warranty modifications, extensions, or additions are not authorized by any Orange Coast reseller, agent, or employee. Liability is limited to the invoice value of goods only.


Warranty

We have a Lifetime warranty on all Memory products and a five (5) year warranty on all Flash products. A guarantee that our product will conform to the manufacturer’s specification for the original system in which it is installed, and will be free from defects, in workmanship and materials, for the lifetime of that system.

In addition to our warranty, some products will also carry the manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty does NOT hold us responsible for damages or defects as a result of improper shipping/installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, disasters (including: fire, flood, lightening, or improper electrical current), as well as service or alterations performed by anyone other than an authorized representative.

Warranty Return:

To exchange a product under warranty, return product with a copy of original invoice attached along with an explanation of problem, and RMA visible on outside of package. We will replace the part after receiving it. Collect shipments will not be accepted.
